YouTube Channels Virgo Will Love (5 They Will Hate)

5 YouTube Channels Virgo Will Love (5 They Will Hate)

Many people believe the zodiac can influence the traits of our personalities, including things we like and dislike. People born under the sign of Virgo are perfectionists, have an eye for detail, and love building things with their hands. On the other hand, they can't handle messy places, silly sense of humor, and things that are aesthetically not pleasing.

RELATED:  10 Ways Venus Retrograde Can Affect Your Life

Based on that information, it is possible to suggest some YouTube channels for a Virgo. It is also possible to know what they would hate to watch on YouTube, so pick your videos wisely.

10 Love - Home Improvement

People born under the sign of Virgo love working with their hands, and often their hobbies involve home improvement. They have an analytical and practical mind, and they will find it easier than others in the zodiac to work on their homes, and they will take pleasure in it.

Therefore the channel Home Improvement is an excellent option for them. A professional of the construction industry shares all his secrets, and you can learn how to build a shed, but the floor tile, or tape drywall. It will keep a Virgo person busy.

9 Hate - Only Human

Virgos are the most organized people in the zodiac, and they will be upset when they are in messy environments. People born under this sign need clean and organized places to have inner peace and focus on work. TV shows that feature the houses of people who can't get rid of things are a nightmare for them.

The Only Human channel has several videos showing the life of accumulators, and that is something that a Virgo could not watch.

8 Love - Marie Kondo

While Only Humans might give a Virgo an uneasy feeling, watching someone organizing it can be pure joy for them. It is no surprise if they follow several personal organizers on social media and spend some time watching videos of how to organize the house and the office. Mari Kondo, who became famous worldwide for her organization techniques, is the perfect channel for them.

Virgo people are detail-oriented, and they will love organizing each drawer and having a perfect-organized closet

7 Hate - Brent Rivera

Brent Rivera might have over 13 million subscribers on YouTube, but his sense of humor is not the type Vigo people would enjoy. People born under this sign are analytical, and they have a critical sense of humor. That means that they will hardly enjoy pranks or silly challenges, such as who stays longer in a sauna. For a Virgo, everything needs to have a point, even if it is for having fun.

6 Love - Beyoncé

Beyoncé is the ultimate embodiment of a Virgo. The singer, born on September 4th, seeks perfection in everything she does and is a powerful visual artist. It is no surprise that other Virgos love her channel since nothing is random to her. Everything in her videoclips has a meaning, and she pays lots of attention to each detail. Just a Virgo mind could handle everything as Beyoncé does, and it is no wonder she is on the top of her game.

5 Hate - Fail Army

Virgos are perfectionists, and they often have problems in dealing with failure. For them, the frustration when something goes wrong is higher than for other signs in the zodiac. While videos that feature a compilation of failures are popular all over the world, they are not a pleasure for a Virgo, and they can be judgmental on the people.

YouTube channels such as Fail Army are not among their favorite. They might be one of the most demanding signs in the zodiac when it comes to humor.

4 Love - Fightmaster Yoga

People born under the sign of Virgo have lots of energy, and they love sports. They will often nail it when it comes to tennis, gymnastics, or any other sport that demands discipline, something they have more than any sign of the zodiac.

They are also focused on details, and they will enjoy things such as pilates and yoga. The Fightmaster Yoga is something they will love since they will learn how to breathe properly and master the positions.

3 Hate - Worst Things Ever

Virgos are perfectionists. It doesn't mean that they never get things wrong or make mistakes, but they will not think it is funny when they bake an ugly cake, for example. Making mistakes is something that makes them upset, and they will hardly understand why people watch Worst Things Ever.

They appreciate symmetry and perfection, and they would hate watching a channel with ugly things. Watching Halloween pumpkins that went wrong, horrible wedding cakes or anything like that makes no sense.

2 Love - Mind Your Decisions

Virgo has an analytical mind, and those people love being challenged. Solving puzzles and brain teasers is something they could spend hours doing it because they like things that demand logic. Mind Your Decisions is a perfect channel for them and features hundreds of questions where they need to use math and analytical thinking.

It can be an excellent hobby for a Virgo, and they will also love apps and games with the same vibe. It is easy to make a Virgo happy.

1 Hate - Demolition Crew

Virgo people might love working on home improvement, and things related to constructors. They are often great architects, and that is a sign you can trust to plan your house. They love organizing and building things, so it makes sense that they hate destroying things, especially when it is just for fun.

Videos of people destroying electronics, windows are other things that are surprisingly popular. Demolition Crew only posts videos like that. It is not a favorite hobby among Virgo people.

Brie Larson Starts YouTube Channel And Reveals The Movies She Auditioned For

Oscar-winning actress Brie Larson, who plays Captain Marvel in the MCU, has started a new YouTube channel. In this first episode, Larson invites a series of famous YouTube users and people in her life--including Sean Evans from Hot Ones and even her grandmother--to give her advice on how to make a popular YouTube channel. She also shared some secrets about her life in Hollywood.

Larson revealed that she auditioned for Star Wars, The Hunger Games, and Terminator: Genisys. She did not share any details on the specific parts she tried out for, so we can only guess. On the subject of the Terminator, Larson shared that she got a flat tire on the way to the audition, and then "got a flat tire at the audition" so to speak, and ultimately did not get the part.

Also in the video, Larson speaks briefly about her love of video games, and she says future videos could cover that topic. She also confirmed that she plays Fortnite and might make a future video about playing Duos with another celebrity streamer. Appearing on Hot Ones recently, Larson spoke at length about her love for Super Mario 3D World and Nintendo games in general.

Larson, like many other actors in Hollywood, is currently not working due to the COVID-19 crisis, which creates the space to start something like a YouTube channel. Actor John Krasinski also created a YouTube news show called Some Good News, which he has sold to GameSpot parent company ViacomCBS.

IN 2016, Larson won the Oscar for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role for Room. She also played Envy Adams in Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, while she had a starring role in Kong: Skull Island. She made her Captain Marvel debut in the 2019 film of the same name, before reprising the role in Avengers: Endgame. Also in 2019, she played herself in Between Two Ferns: The Movie.

Larson is set to play Captain Marvel again in 2022's Captain Marvel 2.

YouTube TV channels, cost, supported devices and more

What is YouTube TV? Going through the current YouTube TV channels (and those it's about to add) we've seen that the streaming service is about to get serious improvements (but with a slightly predictable price hike). So, we've put together the master guide to how its programming and price stack up, and what makes it special. Is it right for some streamers, especially cord-cutters, looking for a cable TV alternative?

And since YouTube TV's ads are everywhere, both during actual TV breaks and when you sign into YouTube, you might be confused. So, we've broken down all of the nitty gritty aspects of the service.

To clear something up: YouTube TV doesn't bring YouTube videos to the TV. That's the duty of the free YouTube app. Instead, YouTube TV offers live TV, video-on-demand and a cloud-based DVR.

So what channels can you watch, what devices support YouTube TV and how does it stack up to competing cable-replacement services? We’ll answer all of those questions and more in this comprehensive guide.

What is YouTube TV, and how does it work?

YouTube TV is a TV- and movie-streaming service that uses YouTube's clean and straightforward interface.

Youtube TV This is us

Available on smart TVs, streaming boxes, computers and mobile devices, it includes local network broadcast channels, basic cable networks and original web shows from YouTube Red.

YouTube TV home screen

YouTube TV just added improved integration with Android TV, so the content you stream on the app now appears in the Channels row on the home screen. This added integration feels like a long time coming, since Google owns YouTube and Android TV.

YouTube TV channels: What do you get?

The YouTube TV channels list includes more than 85 live TV channels, based on your region, plus content from the YouTube Originals channel. Your options will depend on your region, though, as New Yorkers get a directory of 59 networks, including local network affiliates.

YouTube TV had one big gap: the channels from ViacomCBS. Fortunately, that just changed: 8 ViacomCBS channels (BET, CMT, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, Paramount Network, TV Land and VH1) just arrived on YouTube TV — and more are coming soon.

youtube tv channels

YouTube TV's more popular channels include AMC, Bravo, FX and USA. It also offers a wide array of 24-hour news networks, including BBC World News, CNBC, Fox News and MSNBC. YouTube TV's latest channels include CNN, TNT, Adult Swim, Cartoon Network, truTV and Turner Classic Movies. Along with YouTube TV's April 2019 price hike, the streaming service added 10 new channels including Discovery Channel, HGTV, Food Network, TLC, Investigation Discovery, Animal Planet, Travel Channel, and MotorTrend. Oprah Winfrey's OWN network is coming later this year.

To see what networks are available in your area, you'll need to pretend that you're signing up here. Before you enter your credit card information, the site will show you the channels specific to your region.

Here's the full list of YouTube TV channels, before factoring additional options and localization.

Below, you'll see that the YES Network is crossed out. On Feb. 27, YouTube TV announced it will "no longer offer FOX Regional Sports Networks, including YES Network, beginning February 29th." YouTube TV cited an inability to reach an agreement with Sinclair Broadcast Groups, which owns those networks.

  • YouTube TV cost: What's the price and is there a contract?

YouTube TV costs $65 per month, or at least it will starting July 30. It was formerly $50 per month, after an April 10, 2019 price hike moved it up from $40.

We were worried this was going to happen. YouTube TV's gains of Viacom channels, including Comedy Central and VH1 weren't going to be free.

Past price hikes, just like today's change, were timed with content additions. When YouTube TV got Turner channels in 2018, it went up by $5, and the 2019 addition of local channels and Discovery channels saw a price jump of $10.

Could we see a more affordable tier in the future? YouTube TV, according to a YouTube.com blog post, could get other options (making it more similar to the customizable Sling TV), as the company notes "we are working to build new flexible models for YouTube TV users."

Right now, Verizon is offering a deal on YouTube TV for those looking for a new smartphone:

    YouTube TV library

You can try out YouTube TV for seven days before you're charged. And because there's no contract for the service, you can cancel at any time.

Adding on Showtime costs $7 per month currently, while Fox Soccer Plus costs $15 per month, Shudder and AMC cost $5 per month each, Sundance Now is $7 per month, Starz costs $9 a month, and Curiosity TV is available for an extra $3. Optional sports add-ons include NBA League Pass $40. MLB.TV was reportedly coming to YouTube TV, too, but it's not available as of this writing. As part of recent changes at YouTube TV, Epix is now available as a $6 monthly add-on.

    What's new in YouTube TV?

In the summer of 2019, YouTube TV tweaked the "Now Playing" section of its user interface. The adjustments include larger image thumbnails, progressive fast-forward and a "More to watch" section with recommendations for other content.

How many people does a subscription cover, and how many can stream at once?

Each YouTube TV subscription allows for up to six separate user accounts, so each viewer can create a unique profile for customized suggestions and private DVR libraries. Up to three accounts can stream content simultaneously.

    Where is YouTube TV available?

While it took a while to roll out around the country, YouTube TV is now available in every television market in the U.S. This expansion completed with Glendive, Montana, according to a tweet from YouTube TV.

Which streaming devices work with YouTube TV?

You can watch YouTube TV, though, via Chromecast and Xbox One consoles. YouTube TV is also available on Android, iOS, laptops and desktops.

    youtube tv

One of the biggest issues with YouTube TV was its limited number of supported streaming devices, a problem it is slowly remedying. Back in February 2018, YouTube TV apps landed on Apple TV boxes and Roku TVs and other Roku devices, including the Express, Ultra and Stick.

Mere hours after I updated this story with the note that YouTube TV was supposed supposed to be coming to Amazon's Fire TV devices, the app finally arrived on Amazon's app store. This all comes in the aftermath of a corporate spat where Google and Amazon limited how their devices and platforms were being used by the other, which ended in April.

Can I get YouTube TV on my smart TV?

TV sets running the Android TV operating system can download a YouTube TV app. Select LG, Samsung, Vizio, Sharp, Hisense and Sony smart TVs from 2014 and 2015 should be getting YouTube TV "soon," according to YouTube. For a full list of supported devices, click here.

Can you watch live TV on YouTube TV? How about local channels?

Yes. YouTube TV's major function is its ability to serve up livestreams of cable TV channels. In New York City, for example, YouTube TV offers a selection of local networks (ABC 7, CBS 2, FOX 5 and NBC 4), while excluding PBS.

    youtube tv live content

YouTube TV's Home tab shows you live TV options, as well as suggests top picks based on your preferences. For complete listings, click on the Live tab to see what's streaming now, and what's up next. Hovering over a show or event shows you a preview of the content.

What sports does YouTube TV offer?

YouTube TV offers a fair lineup of sports networks, with four ESPN channels, The Big Ten Network, CBS Sports, NBC Sports, The Tennis Channel, the SEC Network, NESN and the Olympic channel.

As mentioned above, FOX Regional Sports Networks, and the YES Network, are leaving YouTube TV because of a contract negotiations dispute.

How can I DVR shows, and how many can I store?

One of YouTube TV's most prominent features is its ability to save programming to its DVR library. To record a show, click its "+" button. YouTube TV will begin recording if the show is live, or save the show later if it has yet to come on.

    youtube tv family sharing

Even better: You can record as much programming as you like, as there's no storage size cap on what you save. The one limit you have to observe is that each program is deleted after nine months.

How good are the reviews of YouTube TV?

Tom's Guide writer Kelly Woo gave YouTube TV a good review, giving the service credit for an unlimited DVR, local channels and its ease of use. She also noted the lack of Viacom channels and mediocre original programming. Wired's Davey Alba agreed, noting that YouTube TV's channel selection may not feature enough content for everyone, and gave it the backhanded compliment of being "fun, because television is fun."

The YouTube TV mobile app drew praise from Ben Popper at The Verge, who also appreciated the unlimited amount of storage in its cloud-based DVR. Mashable's Raymond Wong lamented that the streaming service forces you to "give up go-to channels like CNN, Comedy Central, TBS and Adult Swim."

How do I get a free trial of YouTube TV?

When you sign up for YouTube TV, you get a free seven-day trial, provided the Google account that you're using has never been used for the service before.

    youtube tv sportscenter

NBA diehards can sign up for NBA League Pass as an add-on. Football fanatics will notice the lack of NFL Red Zone and MLB.TV is currently MIA.

What kind of on-demand content is there?

    youtube tv on demand

YouTube TV also offers on-demand content for recently broadcast shows and movies. For example, only the current season of The Walking Dead and Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. are available. Half of Law & Order's sixth season is available to stream now, while the rest of it will be available once it re-airs on the Sundance TV channel. The same goes for films, such as Marvel Studios' Thor, which became available on-demand after it aired on the Syfy channel.

How is YouTube TV different than YouTube Red?

YouTube Red, the company's other paid service, is an upgrade for regular YouTube, which strips ads from its videos. The $9.99-per-month YouTube Red also allows you to download videos for offline playback, play videos in the background on your mobile device and access YouTube Originals. It also includes a subscription to Google Play Music (a Spotify competitor).

MORE: YouTube TV vs YouTube Red vs YouTube Premium

How does YouTube TV compare to Sling TV and other cable replacement services?

YouTube TV's clean interface is one of the best around, and none of its competitors can touch its unlimited DVR cap. And while we love YouTube TV's growing channel list, its pricing may now be a sore spot for many.

The new $65 a month price makes YouTubeTV the most expensive live tv streaming package, $10 more than both Fubo TV and AT&T TV Now (both $55). Fubo has more than 100 channels, with a heavy emphasis on sports, while AT&T TV Now only has around 45+ channels.

Sling TV, with more than 30 channels for $30 per month, is cheaper. For more details check out our big Hulu Live vs. YouTube TV vs. Sling vs. AT&T TV Now face-off, to see how these services fare against one another.
